Coral mask carved from a solid half round of alder wood. This mask is 12.5 inches wide and 14.5 inches in height. A great piece for a mantel or a feature wall. I carve masks in all sizes and welcome commissions. They are finely sanded with micro cloth to a satiny finished and hand rubbed with mineral oil for easy care.

Personalized urns are a new creation for me. I created this one for my mom who passed away 3 years ago. I wanted a keepsake to keep a small amount of her ashes in. It is carved from aromatic cedar also known as juniper, known for its deep red heart wood and white outer wood. I incorporated into it all the things my mom loved and a portrait of her when she was a young girl.

This custom door knocker is made for a customer who lived in Australia for a few years and love herons. They collect heron pieces so was appropriate to make them a heron door knocker from wood from Australia . The heron is carved from Jarrah wood and the backing is New Guinea walnut.

I have carved many sculptures, this one is a mink and her three kits, something I often witness while out in my kayak on the Sunshine Coast. They have given me hours of amusement as they do notseem to be phased by a kayak just floating in the water. One once attempted to climb up my paddle not realizing there was a human at the other end of it, this carving is from fir root which when finished looks like marble with it's swirling light and dark colors.
