Geschichte:
Developed as a mining town at the end of the nineteenth century, it was hoped that Kimberley would bring about the same riches as its predecessor in Australia for which it was named after. The Sullivan Mines were successful in both producing zinc and lead ore. The alpine lifestyle and the mining industry have thrived here ever since.
