British Columbia Travel Guide
The unofficial BC Travel & Tourism Guide
As a community of the Cowichan Valley region, Cobble Hill plays its roll in hosting great ocean side provincial parks, tall densely forested trails, great wilderness settings, agricultural and vineyard pockets of open space. Not to mention, the perfect spot chosen for filming a few scenes for the movie “Little Women”.

Direct routes off the island highway lead visitors to easily discover the gallery, pub, bakery, market and antiques shops are distinct historic sites and charming buildings that give Cobble Hill its welcoming charm. The artists living here are featured in the galleries and provide works in mediums such as; pottery, sculpting, painting (oil, water colour, acrylic) or wood in the tradition First Nations totem pole carving.

Visitors who would like to enjoy exploring the vineyards and forested trails, or even a day on intense mountain trail biking are sure to find themselves with a few days of exploring. Otherwise, the local golf courses will provide the entertainment for avid players. Or, possibly, visitors would prefer a day in the country site riding horse back.

This leisurely, easy going community has a reputation of friendly and relaxed experiences whether day tripping or looking for a romantic evening for two.
