Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual display of outdoor sculpture, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Sculpturewalk 2015 features 32 sculptures from both local and international artists, including work from as far afield as Cuba, Iran and Australia.
Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite piece - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collection. All of the sculptures are available for sale or lease.
Ballots are available in the red boxes along the route (which begins at The Kootenay Market on Columbia Avenue, though you can begin your tour from anywhere along the route), at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, or The Kootenay Gallery.
