Weaver Bird Designs

Christine is a fibre artist working with weaving, spinning, knitting and silkscreening to produce one of a kind clothing. Her inspiration comes from nature in all its colours and textures.

This sweater was inspired by her mother's love for ocean kayaking.

 

The Snowdrift jacket imagery drew on Christine's many years in the Canadian Arctic.

 

The "She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not" vest began with the unspun roving in delicious shades of buttercup, mango and pumpkin. Christine blended and spun the fibres to create twelve yarns in related colours, then designed a knitted vest around the colours.

 

Christine also weaves tea towels and other articles for the home.
