With two major rivers and over 1,600 kilometers of lake shore line it is very easy find a pleasant spot to enjoy the weather or take a long walk. There is plenty of fishing opportunities as well! Perhaps, visitors may prefect to make a golf tour out of their adventures in the Thompson Okanagan. Many nearby towns and cities offer great golfing, as well right in Chase!

Chase is located along the Trans Canada Highway #1 about 56 kilometers east of Kamloops.

Geschichte:
The Shuswap (English) /Secwepemc (Native) Nations covers an area of 145,040 square kilometres in the British Columbia Interior, which includes where Chase stands today. These tribes lived in the area thousands of years prior to the first white settlers, who arrived during the gold rush.

Named after the first non-native settler and farmer in the Shuswap Prairie, Whitfield Chase, it was originally a logging town.
